Sanderson might have peaked as a worldbuilder in Stormlight and with his short fiction. But I'd forgotten how well he'd constructed the society of the Final Empire, how each new layer is presented in well-crafted ways, like Vin peeling back layer after kayer she had been aware of but had dismissed, like the different thieving crews or the rebels, or the Mistings and the Mistborn. It's fascinating
