The mc is the worst. I may be only 15% into the book but I'm 100% done. mc: Everybody's leaving me, boo hoo. I mean sure they're going to propose or have called me on my bad behavior but I really need them even though I'll never tell them what's going on. Also mc: I'm so empathetic.
mc: I want answers. *meets creature with answers* also mc: I don't want the obligation that might come from letting you serve me.
