one of the best books i've read about mental health and grief. this book is so heartbreaking and powerful. i couldn't avoid crying once again. rereading this for the second time.

i don't know. i just read the prologue and i got this awful urge to cry. i couldn't contain it. this was really painful and beautifully written.

how is the writing so effortless and the conversations so good. i'm flying through this book. and i'm loving every minute of it.

this book is killing me 😭 it's so painful what mickey's going through.

also, now i'm listening to the tragically hip, because it's mickey's favourite band. will move to the amity affliction next. cool bands 😁

i'm loving this so much! 😺 the magic, the interactions. i wish we get to see more magic reactions/interactions soon!

the writing can get in the way of the story sometimes. we're in a very intense and serious scene and you're taken back by some obnoxious writing 😅 it breaks the immersion quite a bit.

it's an interesting premise, i must say. and the book cover 🤯

i swear, nandan is a very dislikeable character, in my humble opinion.

this novel feels slightly aggressive. and i have this feeling that i dislike every character except dave. the writing can feel overwhelming at times.
