Re-reading. After reading several disappointing books by authors new to me, I need the antidote of a book I know and love.

Several times I've come close to the dreaded DNF.

If I played the drinking game for every time Mische reminded the reader she is dead, I'd be in hospital with severe alcohol poisoning by now. She's dead! I got that the first time!

This isn't the edition I'm reading but I can't change it. I'm reading the Del Rey hardback edition.

Started reading this because I'm watching The Dresden Files TV adaptation and wanted to find out what the books were like.

Really looking forward to this. I adore Joscelin and it will be interesting to read from his POV.

This is the wrong edition. I've tried changing it but I can't. The one I have is the Gollancz paperback with the male elf on the front cover.
