Why did it take me four years to get into Interview With The Vampire (the show). It took everything I wanted out of vampire media and put it into one series. And I’m only watching it now. Halfway into season 2 and I can’t imagine what’ll happen next (but I think it’ll be everything I ever dreamed of)

Literally picked up my Poe collection and read Fall of the House of Usher to prepare to read this book. Except I barely understood the story despite rereading paragraphs because the descriptions were so dense. I want to believe I understood it well enough that I can catch the references in this book too. Yay!
