The “librarian” says that the life you pick becomes your own, but I feel like reincarnation wouldn’t work in that you get reincarnated into a different version of yourself. That’s just what I think, though.

“Two women and a man.” There is no way of knowing someone’s gender if you don’t even know who they are, like this character doesn’t, and casual mentions like this in media, like books, means that people think it’s okay to gender people based on looks, when it’s not.

Reading other people’s regrets is tough, even if they’re fictional. I have so many. I want a library with different versions of my life to see how things differ.

SO MANY mentions of her mother’s weight. So unnecessary, cringy, uncomfortable, etc. It’s readable so far other than that, but come on. Why?

Turns out audiobooks are way more confusing than actual books, but it was free and I like the story idea (though realistically depressing). I never know what character is talking because so far everyone sounds the same.
