So far the value of this book rests on it raising an important conversation evangelicals like myself should regularly have to check our adherence to expectations laid out in Scripture. The problem, though, is the author's admitted point of view that lacks theological and historical training to accurately interpret and apply many passages he uses in similar ways he criticizes "the right" for doing.

Moo does well at providing multiple interpretations of both tough, well-known verses as well as others that the average reader like myself might not even realize is open to debate. While sometimes more academic than I can understand, Moo is very clear in his explanations. Great commentary.
