I continue to enjoy this compilation. I’m reading slow to savor the stories.

What I feared has been confirmed. Still unhappy with Saena but cannot hate her anymore.

Interesting book. At first I was rather put off by all the acronyms but slowly they were used less and less. Thank goodness. And the relationship between the main characters heats up very quickly.

I've managed to read more during the daylight hours. Still darkly beautiful and, happily, not as scary.

Beautifully and vividly written this book has set me on edge. Terrifying creatures being remade by a hive-like creature into something yet more terrifying. I'm, quite frankly, frightened and hope I can read more but it is so vividly written and tense (okay scary) even though it's set in a training academy from the back cover I have a feeling it's going to get much much worse on the fear scale. Lord help me.

This book is not for the faint of heart. It has already set me on edge with two terrifying creatures. One, a spider that freezes things, and two, a creature -insect called a xenosite that takes over, infects, and the recreates a creature into something triply terrifying. I hope I can finish this book. I'm already scared. >.<;;;

I'm so excited I'm having trouble starting. I hope other people have this problem. My expectations are so high, while her books are always spectacular I still worry this one book won't be when I read them. I get that a lot.

I stayed up late reading this. This book really rolls along fluidly and rather quickly. Fun and intriguing.

The Feather and the Moon Well (In the Brilliance of Sun, #1)
I'm loving it so far. The writing style is fun and easy to read, even out loud. The Willow Woman searching for a release from her loneliness is touching, and rather frightening how she might achieve that very freedom. I understand that she's not human and her only interaction with people. She deserves a friend though. She's been alone much too long.

Finally, they kiss. Acknowledge that there's something between them. Even if it's still hesitant on her part. Finally!

On this particular page is a quote I want to come true in my life. "... the men. Stubbornness and passion might prevail, they might act like kings of their castle, but it was all show. The women ran the castle. The men worked tirelessly to support their families and they -served- their women." That would be a swoon worthy man right their. Let me tell you!

The last bit of the first section made me bawl like a baby, Celaena's pain was mine, I understood so beautifully what she was going through and, for a moment, I felt broken too. But I knew she would rise from her ashes and become a flaming phoenix. I am watching her rise now. Rise and conquer.

Tangled Tides (The Sea Monster Memoirs, #1)
This book tumbles and roils like the very sea that these creatures are made for. Ups, downs, turn arounds, jumps, spins, falls - this book has them all. I am a bit surprised by how many powers these creatures have, it kind of snow balls into some great over powering thing but the build up feels natural and not too artificial. I'm really enjoying the book so far and the surprises are one of a kind.

This book starts off running full of secrets and action. I'm not sure who I should be rooting for but I have a feeling that the man in the white coat is hiding something alarming due to both his and Treygan's side of the story. The back cover also raises some alarm over Yara's safety.

The book is coming along nicely. I still have some trouble differentiating the brothers when they're together but when Chase is alone with Hope the teasing and sexiness is toasty warm. And her son Harris? Such a cutie with his transformers!

This book is pretty good although sometimes when the brothers are talking I have trouble differentiating the two as deprecate entities and makes it hard to understand what in the world just happened. I understand the brothers are close but sometimes they seem like one being and that's confusing.
