Every moment I’ve spent listening to this, so far, has grated on my nerves. I had the same problem with another Backman book. Is it just me?!

Enjoyably terrifying storyline, but WOW this guy could have been more concise. Good for a slow, sick-week audiobook.

This is one of the saddest books I’ve read in a long time. I hope it redeems itself.

Not my normal genre, but a decent skip-the-line Libby audiobook to distract during sickness.

This is my first by this author. It is dragggging. Also, I feel like she thinks her readers are stupid, because she repeats the same character info over and over, and spells out exactly what they are thinking and feeling, when it is still obvious. The contrived dialogue is also grating.🫠
