I fear we are dragging the story a bit

So no one is gonna talk about how this is like books 2 and 4 of Harry Potter…?

I think I prefer books that stay in one tense and focus on the POV of one MAX two characters. I don’t care about what’s going on in Chaols head. Or Kaltain. Knowing Sarah J. Maas there is a reason that will be revealed to me in the future but I am allowed to hate it lol

The changing of tenses and character POV is throwing me off.

I am confusion

For however centuries old fisher is, you’d think he’d be a better communicator. Sheesh.

I just think Beauty and the Beast is the ultimate grumpy sunshine scenario and books like this just emulate it over and over again. Demanding that she come to dinner… the house setting out clothes for her to wear…

I was not expecting to struggle with this as much as I am.

This is the longest 8% of a book in my life

Got me out here STRESSED BC WHAT DO YOU MEANNNNNNNNN

Things are too good for there to only be 120 pages left. I’m stressed

Have to take a break bc i know the next 20% of this book is gonna need to be read in one sitting and it’s a school night
