Fun behind the scenes origin stories of iconic NYC restaurants like Odeon, Cafe Luxembourg, Balthazar, and more. KM is funny, smart, and a great story teller. He does throw his second ex wife under the bus....but she might have deserved it (metaphorically).

Enjoyed the NYTs book review of this biography more than the book itself. The author gets very in the weeds of J.Blume's career....the beginning is interesting and then less so as the book goes on.
