Giving up. Unfortunately it’s just boring. The passion and emotions in missing in every way. Be it sex, love, pain, mystery or even the villain. The element that keeps you hooked is missing.

Can’t help but constantly compare Sabrina to Anna.
Sabrina is supposed to be more powerful, beautiful, evil, sexual, etc. Yet I am all for Anna.
I understand the tone of this book had to be toned down because of the other booked being banned and shit. Still, a secret wedding where about 50ish people are invited and a singer to perform on stage is not at all secretive.
Bored…

So far I am disappointed in the story. I feel absolutely nothing for Sabrina.
Story of Anna made me cry and hate all those who hurt her. Well! This whole situation with Aiden feels senseless. She is rapes by many men just like that because there was a need to fill the pages.

Once again Harry and Poppy are way more interesting than Cat and Leo.

I am finding the argument between Harry and Leo way more entertaining than Cat and Leo.

Like you’ve already had sexual twice with the man girl! He wants marriage. And your nightmares are all about your fear of being a fallen woman. And yet you don’t want to marry him.

I am skipping pages now. Just to complete this book.

The most boring of the series so far… never really liked Cat in the last books. Dislike her even more in this one. Her holier than thou attitude and that my secret is only mine even if you now know it attitude. Absolutely dislike!

So she smiles at he feels hot all over. I am finding a bit difficult to relate to these two characters. Their actions or words are not evoking the accurate feelings in me. They seems to be taunting each other and I feel they are quarrelling. They might be playful with each other and I am anticipating indifference. I seem to be not all all in tune with them.

This is irritating and disappointing!!

I do not like the way the book is written. The writing style is a bit boring.

The ending seems to be killing it for me. Why such a dumb climax. Like no logic yo steal money from your husband and give to the family of man you fucked.

I can’t read it any more… it’s just too dull.

So the prince’s “romantic illusion and idealism and naive belief in happiness” were shattered when a woman, 19 years his senior, refused to marry him or runaway to the continent with him because she is actually rich and has 2 young daughters who need to be eventually married. And a scandal can ruin everyone’s life.

I have had to make myself force read this book. Usually I end up sleeping.
Extremely fed up and on verge of giving up.

So in last bit h has been transformed into the beauty of the London because she has her original hair colour back. She has clothes of latest fashion and she is interacting with the duke hooding he falls in love with her.
OMs are attracted to her and she is having time of her life.

Up till now: the Duke is arrogant Marries h and leaves her in his country estate to have the time of his life with OW.
h is supposed to be ugly because her clothes are shabby and because she bleached her hair.

Ella doesn’t know how to write about arrange marriages. Coming form a country where arrange majority of marriages are still arranged by the families, I am not impressed at all. Skipping pages now trying to find some interesting part.

It started really well and I was like this is going to blow my mind.

Then Callum’s attitude changes towards Renee and things go down hill instead of up hill. The romance is really boring between them. They just don’t click.

Feels like ELLA just wanted to write a book about them so she just wrote one. With half a heart.

I think there is a pattern here that at about 75% if the book I start disliking the Female leads. Absolutely dislike the way they handle their men.

I am beginning to bored… huh 😏

The whole thing about Daisy feeling guilty about Alexis is getting boring.

Up till now I was mesmerized and hooked to every word. Then the classic modern shit happened. When the guy comes back asking for a second chance the girl rejects him. Like why? You have been pinning for him, like dying everyday to have him. Now that he has mended his ways and is asking for a way back in, the girl says, ‘sorry can’t do!’ ‘Eyeroll’ 🙄

Some please go and tell everyone in this book and Ms Zoe that 24 carrot gold can not be crafted into anything. Pure gold is so soft that it can be cut with a paper knife.

And then Zoe explains that it’s a false intelligence that only people low intelligence can be manipulated. According to her, “An intelligent person was far more likely to overthink, turning it over and over in their head, and second guess the issue, thereby falling into the hands of the manipulator.”

I am disappointed!

So Richard adores Lizzie’s intelligence. And she appears dumb enough to be for not recognizing that Richard is making a fool of her.

“To be needed, to be wanted, to the point of madness by this amazingly complex and intense man was… indescribable.”

Absolutely disliked this though process of Lizzie. Richard so far has come across as plain abusive. I can’t seem to see the romance in it all.

I am hopeful for Lizzie because in book 1 she has shown some backbone to her character.

I don’t like Lizzie in this book. I liked her strong character in the last book. Constantly fighting the evil to her best abilities.
