My 3d reread of NoX, ignoring the over 250 books i have on my TBR. Explain to me why reading/listening to jaws being severated from skulls has become my comfort read, but I think about Nox, Luca and Koda at least once a week and sometimes I have to give the intrucive thoughts their way and listen to this amazing story once again

I was a little bit apprehensive to re-read this one, as I feared my infatuation with this series was a fluke and i might have been tripping the first time I read this. Happy to announce that it was in fact not a fluke, and I am enjoying my second time reading this maybe even more than the first time!

As a non movie person im missing all the movie references, and there's a lot of those.
The FMC is also very level-headed about it all. I would've loved some horror-panic to drive the point home, but perhaps I'm just too early in this slasher romance.

This book is so engaging, why is this working so well for me??

Space Sci-fi always accomplishes to give me this immense sense of dread and claustrophobia. Its one of the reasons I don't gravitate (pun intended) towards this genre. It has the level of suspense equal to a big thriller to me and I can't always cope. But Holy Damn Moly does this book have it's talons in me and not letting go. I love it. Impending doom like the sword of Damocles over my head or not.
