ehedekin is starting A Dowry of Blood

Listening to this as an audiobook (🫪) for my book club. I would usually not read this type of book OR listen to an audiobook but we shall see. Enjoying it so far because it’s spooky

We will see how she goes… I’m not really a fan of Greek mythology or mythology/fantasy in general BUT this is for a new book club I’m excited about & also I got it from a lovely book store, so alas

Not sure how I feel about this so far… I feel like there are so many loose threads, and the timeline jumps are confusing. I’m also not a huge fan of the main character yet… We shall see

This book has unfortunately made me realize I prefer hearing about/watching spooky stuff rather than reading about it. Kind of a snooze/amateur vibe and is lowkey boring without the pictures…
