I personally don't like the writing style but I'm still really interested in this

This is genuinely so funny 😭

the world is so fascinating. idk if i prefer the flashback chapters or the present chapters. they're both quite interesting and i could honestly see them being their own books lol

The relationship is so sweet and full of so much yearning. The fact that this is set in the 1950s is a damper because 1950s homophobia is dangerous 😞

I love how the characters speak. It's very nostalgic of how how the people around me speak.

People are starting to drop like flies and honestly I'm enjoying it because I want to know how it will all come together (⁠ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠)

The mc is so unlikable 😭😭
But honestly I don't mind that much

I was in a bit of a mini reading slump and went back to reading fanfics for a while but I just had to continue this book. The lore!! The characters!! The mysteries!! They're all just so captivating

I'm so invested in this. More world building! More intrigue! More of seeing the characters!!!
However more characters to remember omg (⁠ᗒ⁠ᗩ⁠ᗕ⁠)

Everything is going haywire and I'm mostly interested. I've had certain issues with this book like how it treats men being taken advantage of (especially by women) but for the most part I'm still interested in knowing what's happening

Such an amazing novel with extensive world building. I have not read a book like this in a while so it's a bit overwhelming 😭😭

I'm really enjoying this. The romance is just so cute like every time they interact, I'm always smiling lol

My only two nitpicks are that:
1. There are a few weird scene transitions
2. That I've become aware that I don't like main characters that have low self esteem. It gets pretty exhausting after a while

This is such a fun book

So much is going on and I am eating it all up

The world building of this book seems pretty interesting

after watching 'his three daughters', I needed something lighthearted to read so I decided to continue this while listening to Erik Satie: Gymnopédies & Gnossiennes (Full Album)
It has helped a lot

I'm actually enjoying this book even though sometimes I don't even know what's going on

There are so many people to remember omg 😭
Besides from that, the setting of this book feels reminiscent of welcome to night vale

It took 16 chapters for the bf to die...that's far too long especially since nothing is really happening. I'm already tempted to dnf bc I'm having issues with this book

This book is giving b-movie but for books.
I just have to say that constantly referencing pop culture whether fictional or not is just so tiring after a while
