i’m abt to dnf this one im ngl… this is the first kafka book ive read but ive read a bunch of his short stories for my kafka class in uni rn and. the short stories clear this shit.. this is like “in the penal colony” but more redundant and confusing and stupid. just read “in the penal colony” it’s like 20 pages and way better than whatever the fuck is going on here..

this book will get so good for like 20 pages and then go back to being so fucking boring and pointless

sometimes the way the main character will go off describing cock drives me up a wall but the writing is so interesting i have to keep reading

dnf i do not want to read this shit if the entire plot contents were explained to me already in acosf. maybe one day i’ll go back if i get especially nesta/cassian crazed again… but i doubt it bc it sounded like nesta was just her usual pre-acosf bitchy self and cassian was just scrambling for a crumb of pussy.
