Read this for a book club and UWF reading program. Long but moving story

I read this as an evaluator for UWF reading program. The title did not accurately describe the content for me. The violence described was not the physical violence I initially thought about. It deals with micro aggressions and combating all types of mistreatment and discrimination/ domination in the workplace . environment. Written by director emeritus of The MK Gandhi Institute for Non-violence.

I could not finish this book. I guess dystopian fiction might not be for me although I’ve read 1984 and The Handmaidens Tale without problem

Reading with group Plymouth Church Justice Network

Kept my attention. A different sort of story focusing on a female priest and an older police chief solving a mystery in a small town. The first in a series,not sure if I’ll read more

This book became available for me at my library today so took a break from another book

Not a Christmas story at all but engaging about a troubled family’s help from an Amish family.

While at half price books I saw an older paperback copy of this book. The picture on the cover was rather racy for the time period of publication(1950's or so). I got the book at the public library. The style of writing is very engaging to me and the person who decided to put that picture on that paper back book completely missed the point.

This was the Lake Park Friends book club suggestion. I didn’t participate in the group discussion but decided to read the book. A challenge to make our yards wildlife habitats for birds ,animals and insects. A challenging read

I read this book as a member of a monthly Bible study group. Could be both difficult and thought provoking at times

Mystery that also is a social commentary. Read as part of UWF reading program

Just picked up after reserving at my library. I’ll have to start this as time I’ll have it is limited

I don’t think I’ll read another by this author. It took a very long time to get to the conclusion I did not feel very engaged with the characters

Read this after seeing the movie. Interesting but a slow read
