For a guy who lives with the fae and surrounds himself with (for all intents and purposes) zombies, forbidding Elara from learning about her newfound powers to better aid the Lost Boys in their fight is profoundly stupid. I’m on Team Elara. But she’s tied herself to this ship now, so there’s no turning back. Is Neverland a version of the afterlife?

If Elara chooses Neverland, what happens to her life in the human world? WHO takes over the bookstore? What happens to her apartment? Did Sam ever text her back? Did she leave her phone? Does Neverland even have cell service?

Okay, Peter just learned Elara has a fae companion. And she just went through *another* portal to unlock more of her connections to Neverland. And the portal had pink magic in it. Does this mean her eye color is a clue to her connection to Neverland? Was this eye color never a concern growing up? Still here, with questions.

Okay, the plot keeps jumping between 14 and 17 years ago. If Elara turns 21 on the year Peter finds her again and she was 7 when she first met him, that’s 14 years…right? But sometimes Elara’s inner monologue says 17 years…. I’m still intrigued by the plot but confused by the math.

So far so interesting! The premise is already pulling me in–who among us hasn’t wanted to escape to Neverland? I’m interested to see how the fight with Hook develops, and if Elara’s backstory is fleshed out. I’m also curious why her eye color seems to go from pink to violet. Is she part fae? 👀
