Getting through this book a lot slower than I intended, but getting back to it and will hopefully finish it soon. I won't rate it until I finish it, but so far, it's pretty good.

The most frustrating thing with Fr Huneycutt's books is not the content but rather the typos and grammar errors. Fr Huneycutt, would you please--for the love of God and chocolate--get a proofreader. I'm going to try to rate this book based on content, but it's going to lose a star for the typos. Proofreading is part of the process of putting out a professional text.

Just started it, and have very high hopes. Read one book by Fr Joseph Huneycutt, and outside of needing a little proofreading, it was decent. This one is the second book by this author that I'm reading.

An amazing woman, an incredible life.

So far, it's an exceptional read. I'm Orthodox, but this Catholic nun is amazing, and has had quite a fascinating life.

Had a yard sale today so was able to get more reading done than 2 or 3 pages at a time. This book and its author are nothing short of amazing. Unless he brings a dancing bear in at the end, it's going to be getting 5 stars. I'm dazzled. And you need a highlighter when you read this one. Highlighting...highlighting...

It's slow-going because this is such a deep read. Also had to take a break to get through books that had to get back to the library. This book is beyond excellent. Highly recommended.

It's slow-going because of how busy I am right now, but getting through a couple of pages a night. Page 28 made me look up the term 'papal bull.' I know I'm reading a good book when it makes me look things up. So far, expertly written.

Everybody's damaged.

This is, logically, a slower read than fiction, but already it's every bit as fantastic as Fr Damick's podcasts. I just can't see me being disappointed in this book. And I have One Flew Over the Onion Dome sitting on the table waiting to be next. : D

Just came in the mail. Anxious to crack it open!

Just finished up Middle School: Get Me Out of Here! by James Paterson. Now waiting patiently for "One Flew Over the Onion Dome" and "Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy."

All the giveaway books went out a couple weeks ago. Hoping I see at least one honest review soon. As promised, even if it's a bad one, I will remove my own biased (prank) review so that the rating is genuine. :)

Finally got the 'wandering indent' problem fixed, and the ebook edition just about up and running.

Still a tough read--too many details--but the suspense is building. These kinds of stories are hard to get through anyway because of all the soap opera things that have to be thrown in in order to see print in this series, but this isn't the worst I've read. Author needs to vary facial expressions more--too many characters have pressed their lips together, and not as in a kiss.

Very tough read. Not enough personality or characterization, way too much "all the details you're going to have to keep track of in order to solve the crime"--lots of minutia and of course, all the 'tingling' required for the genre. Yes, yes, the color of his eyes, we have a past, never can we love again, blah blah. Sorry, I'm uninspired.
