Still a tough read--too many details--but the suspense is building. These kinds of stories are hard to get through anyway because of all the soap opera things that have to be thrown in in order to see print in this series, but this isn't the worst I've read. Author needs to vary facial expressions more--too many characters have pressed their lips together, and not as in a kiss.

Very tough read. Not enough personality or characterization, way too much "all the details you're going to have to keep track of in order to solve the crime"--lots of minutia and of course, all the 'tingling' required for the genre. Yes, yes, the color of his eyes, we have a past, never can we love again, blah blah. Sorry, I'm uninspired.
