I’m loving it. The prose is peculiar but intriguing. I love how we delve into the character’s mind. She’s very relatable, just as the black hole.

Still liking it so far, but I’m starting to have trouble remembering everything and everyone. I hope the cast won’t be expanded any more because it’s getting difficult to differentiate Ed, Phil, Keith, Louis and Franck 😅

The dive into characters’ analysis is exquisite! They are so well written

Characters are unbelievably real and raw. I love how each has their own voice, and you can tell just by the writing whom point of view it is. Also, everything is so relatable. My heart breaks for Rosaleen already, Ed and Maggie too. Everything is in the details.

I have no expectations for this book, but it’s starting well. The writing style is fluid and effortless. I love the thoughts about social media’s absurdity. It definitely helps to take a step back.

Reading this one for the Inklings book club by Jack Edwards, I can’t wait!

25 pages in and i’m suffering already. WHY ARE THERE NO PARAGRAPH AND NO DIALOGUE MARKS???!!

Random thoughts:
- just realised their names are January and August. idk if it’s genius or cheesy cringy
- January is an alcoholic
- i like their interactions/when they are together, the rest is a bit boring
- i like how Gus craft his stories, im taking notes!
- January’s backstory is too repetitive, i need a plot twist or it will be very long book to read
