Rereading with my bestie (she’s never read it before).

Pretty predictable so far. This really could’ve been much shorter.

I printed a booklet of this for myself so I could highlight and annotate on paper. Also doing the audio for full immersion. And I just caught the Target edition of Brimstone on sale (BOGO 50%) 🙌🏽 Merry Christmas to me!

In the audiobook, you can hear the pages turning because she is reading a diary that she found and I kind of love it. 📖

Slow but really keeping me interested!

I didn’t love it at first but it’s starting to get good.

I think I'm going to wait for the audiobook to come out. When I bought this, I couldn't find any announcement that an audiobook was even in production. But now that I know it will likely come out next year, I think I'll DNF for now but 100% come back. It's been sitting there on my
"Currently Reading" shelf judging me and staring into my soul but I haven't even started it. 0

Gothic horror to the max: Woods with untold monsters that eat flesh, crows that might be cursed, a crone witch, a deep scratch on a bone arch, an evil demon guy that tries to eat a baby to steal his power, two sisters unwanted by their mean step mother and one of them might be about to be sent away to a convent where they cut out your tongue. I’m only 4 chapters in y’all! This book is starting off running!

The FMC is a little insufferable but it could be the audiobook actress’ voice (think rich pampered British woman). The MMC (Hawk) sounds like John Goodman (think Sully from Monsters Inc). Not sure what to think about it. Story is decent so far!

My first Graphic Novel other than the ones I’ve read with my son. First one reading for me ☝🏽 💜

My first fae pirate romance with magic. What a combo! 😮‍💨

This one is taking my son and I a lot longer. It is twice as long as the last book and it was kind of boring at the beginning. But we are just taking our time. Now it has grabbed his attention but we still have 10 more hours to go! We read about half a chapter a night. We will get there eventually!

Not crazy about the characters so far. If I didn’t buy the physical books I might consider DNFing it.
