dont know why, but I’m hooked!

been busy but slowly reintroducing reading a few pages into my daily life 🤍

wow! great start. jumping right into a story that feels so alive. can’t wait to read more <3

thought this was gonna be a quick read hence only being a 200 pages book but it’s gotta be the slowest read EVER? Lol. I almost gave up 20 pages in when I asked the internet «what is it with this book???» turns out you’re reading the characters thoughts, there’s not really a clear storyline. I learned to respect the book and now enjoy it much more but still not enough to recommend it.

Feeling as if a big portion of german history has been revealed to me, just now - and gatekeeped until I opened this book. It might be too early rating those pages but I’m already grateful for everything it has taught me not only about Berlin’s but also Germany’s history. This book is a true gem.

Heathcliff is the biggest asshole 😩

It took some time to get into this ‘ancient’ language and map all the characters. Now I really enjoy it. It’s so dramatic. 2000’s reality tv is nothing compared to all their fights.
