I'm dreading reading this book, so I'm not going to finish it. I gave it about 20% to hook me and it didn't.

By this point in the book, we -finally- know what the "Silent Invader" is.
Makes me feel that 95% of the book up to now has been pointless.
I'm struggling to find motivation to finish these last 60 pages . . .

Ugh. This book should never have been published.
It's a rough draft, at best. And I mean ROUGH. It's practically unreadable as it is now . . .

Ugh. I wish there was a "find and replace" for this paperback.
Every time I see the word "arraigned" instead of "arranged," it greatly annoys me. I won't even mention that there's no "x" in "espresso," since Weird Al already did so in his song, "Word Crimes."

I'm 20% into this book and nothing has happened.
The characters are annoying and it's written in the present tense (an amateur mistake).
Not sure if I'll suffer through it all . . .

It's unfortunate that books like this are mired in useless exposition dumps.
The story should have started here.

It's hard to take this book seriously when the author doesn't know the difference between "insure" and "ensure;" "lightning" and "lightening;" and "shown" and "shone." These homophones make a huge difference in the context.

Ugh.
Already on the first page of the first chapter and the page number's in the margin, the scene breaks use inconsistent amounts of asterisks, and the page isn't justify aligned.
This is why I hate self-published authors.
Hopefully the story is good enough to overcome these distracting formatting errors.

- I need to remember this phrase . . . it's hilarious!
