Honestly, I'm tired of reading about the badly-aged opinions of historical men. I find the historical background of the book interesting, I have not read a book about the big wars from the perspective of West Asian countries. But I would've much preferred to hear the story (for once!) from the female perspective. The misogynistic elaborations might be historically correct, but are also infuriating and redundant...
