It feels weird to dislike a book that l clearly and beautiful lays the gospel out for mothers in the first few chapters. Besides that, this book is not relatable to anyone who isn’t a upper class, white, married, stay at home mother… there is no mention of widowed or unmarried Christian mothers. And most examples of hardship stop at cleaning playdough out of the carpet, moving, or a husband losing a job.
