I'm finding this a breathtakingly-brilliant book. It is immersive when it comes to the story of humans living 40,000 years ago - and the thread in the present is thought provoking in a way that has me stopping to ponder each new concept the author introduces.

Wow! This book is by the son of Gregory Hemingway, and adds a great deal left out of Gregory's book PAPA: A PERSONAL MEMOIR. STRANGE TRIBE is more complete about the relationship between the famous writer Ernest Hemingway and Gregory, his son.

Almost an economic manifesto with; Carbon Sequestration Currency, Mondragon Style Co-ops the future replacement for Capitalism, Terrorism (a la Monkey Wrench Gang) against fossil fueled aircraft (replaced by airships), Ocean Shipping (forced to convert to sail power) and other interesting disgressions into Chines Hukou, money reigned in by Block Chains - and something that is part of US Politics Cognitive Biases

Unfortunately this book was bound incorrectly and about half the pages are missing!

This book goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on . . . why haven't I tossed it across the room?
