I started this early last year but life happened and didn’t find the right time to pick it up again. My pre-ordered copy of Onyx Storm arrived this afternoon so thought it felt the right time to get started after finishing my last book earlier today!

On to the last part of this now and it’s tough reading, woke up today feeling low and couldn’t figure out why, but my hubby had a thought it could be this book - I think it probably is, very heavy stuff! Hoping to get this finished in next couple days!

Over 700 pages and the tiniest writing so I’m going slowly with this one, don’t want to miss anything. It’s probably going to take me the best part of the month to finish! I was hooked immediately and struggling to put it down and go to sleep on a night!

Really enjoying this. Sensitive subject matter but lots of good humour. Very relatable for me.

Been reading this in bed over the last couple of nights and I’ve had the strangest dreams afterwards! It’s not scary at all, just really creepy weird! Going to finish this afternoon and start a different one tonight, hopefully the strange dreams will stop!!

Started this right after finishing the first, then been so busy/ tired haven’t picked it up since! 3 weeks later I’m finally getting into and enjoying just as much as the first book!

Hoping to get this finished tonight. Unsure how I feel about it.

I don’t usually do updates but I’m only a little way in and absolutely hooked! Totally understand the hype around this author now!
