Crazy bc this was written 5 years ago but this exact scenario just happened in India in real life earlier this year, even down to the sole survivor being the brother of another passenger who died

Ok I am one chapter in and already hopelessly annoyed by the narrator. A personality built wholly on being jealous of other people is just one of the worst traits. I’ll keep going for a lil longer bc everyone loves this book but oof.

Misjudged the amount of time I had left to finish this book on Libby and it got returned and now I’m on an 8 wk waitlist, wah wah. But honestly it’s for the better because Keishin has just been more and more punchable.

This concept is beautiful, but the world building is lacking. The suspension of disbelief is difficult when you have a chauvinist man constantly questioning Hana’s reality!

I’ve read some good books recently. But I can’t tell you the last time I’ve been this captivated. This book is freaking GOOD. I cannot put it down!
