Finished the chapter on why heat leads to more aggressive behavior.

The author shares a lot of information about how heat increases violent crime…

The theory is that at higher temperatures our bodies serotonin regulation starts to become dysfunctional.

Her description of getting a blood transfusion after delivering her baby and comparing it to vampires is often how I’ve also thought about the blood transfusion I had when I had sepsis

I really like the reframing of “hive” immunity instead of “heard immunity”
