Sakai claims that the colonial states was all middle class, and then talks about indentured servants in the same breath. completely bad faith arguments, completely bourgeois ideas w no analysis of changing conditions and contradictions. complete mechanical liberal bs

i don’t really agree with some of the anarchist politics that show up in here (non-violence, colorism, etc) but so far this is really good and has given me some interesting perspectives. only a couple chapters in but i already highly recommend

absolutely incredible so far. so many lessons to be learned from act up. the organization of the book is a little difficult for me to follow at times, but that might be because i’m listening to the audiobook
