I have been reading this book for nearly four months. Completely suffered through it. It is so loved and I guess i could understand why, but as an avid Bret Easton Ellis fan.. Donna Tartt is NOT for me. I hate dark academia. I hate buzzy flowery language. This is not reading 1980s, or crime, or cultish like everyone likes to say. I was bored and never wanted to finish it. The last and first pages are the only good
