Listening to this book right now. Love the way it’s read and the way Leconte tells the story of these two giants.

In a day when emotionalism and so called spiritual formation have run amok, I’ve been eager to begin this one. How can we remain rooted to the Bible, desire to grow in grace, and not give way to today’s sloppy spirituality. I’m hopeful this book helps clear the path!

I’ve not read a concise summary of someone’s primary teachings written by someone else and actually enjoyed it, but Smethurst provides a beautiful snapshot into the life and teachings of Keller. For the one who has read widely of Keller, this is a great book to recommend to friends who have not yet begun reading of him. Put this one on your list.

Increasingly intrigued and amazed by the pastor and hymn writer. Hoping this year to include this work by Reinke, Aitken’s biography, and his collection of letters … should Banner of Truth restock the hardback version of the Letters.

Ok, this is great. It’s practical and helpful and is essentially Earleys experience in developing his family’s rule of life.

Really enjoyed Habits of the Household. Hopeful this is the right response with good theology to Comer’s influence on Christian spiritual formation.

First time through the HP. Finley is in book 4 and I’m trying to catch-up

The depth and richness of history that Holland is capturing in this book is astounding. Highly recommend
