At the start of last yr i chose the books i read partially based off the cover bc i wanted my yr in review pg to look good at the top lollll and this yr i dont care about that, but i definitely did choose to read this out of all the others on my shelf bc of the cover. They display the 1st book of the yr so prominently! Not that its the best cover ever, but i like the colors, the pastel is nice

I am SO determined to finish this before the emd of the yr. It cannot be the first book of 2026. Its so mid😭maybe even bad, which fits perfectly w the rest of the books ive read this yr🥲

I put off reading this for sooo long bc....who likes snow??? I didnt WANT to like him or feel sorry for him or understand him. But this is SO GOOD. It's so good!! I am dreading the turning evil part tho. And also wondering how itll happen. Unless its just been slowly happening all along??

Finally finishing the series!

No idea what pg im on bc im reading off of epub.smthg, but oh my goodness this is fantastic!! Its so fun and funny and i love the narrative voice and the characters and wow! So unexpected! Ive seen this around a lot and have gone back and forth a lot on whether or not to read it, and ive always decided against it bc i dont like the cover and the synopsis sounds meh (nothing like the book btw) but here i am!

I wasnt expecting to read this at all, but i suddenly had a strong urge to so here i am!

Still dont know why i start unfinished series. Its so obviously not gonna resolve, i can see exactly where its going and i dont like it. I just wanna know how it all ends but ive got no one to blame but myself

I wasnt planning on continuing the series, bc i didnt love book 2 as much as the 1st, but i saw everyones updates and excitement literally everywhere and couldnt help myself😂

This is ok so far, slow plot wise, as 2nd books usually are, but something that does feel a little off is how well kiva is adapting in normal society. I mean, she hasnt been around civilization for 10 yrs, since she was 7, and even then she lived in a small country town, but now shes in a hige city and doing fine?? And has like no trauma from prison except some bad dreams every now and then?? Argggh

I feel like this is a mix btwn Dune and Six of Crows, and i absolutely love both those books. Kelsier reminds me so much of kaz sometimes, just happier and w nobler goals (like that planning bit?? Tell me that wasnt reminiscent of the ice court heist planning session)

I needed a good western. I live it so far, but im not a big fan of books starting w smthg that happens later in the book. It ruins the anticipation and i like being surprised

Its been 3 hrs since i started, im 200 pgs in, and not even 2 full days have passed😂classic fredrik backman. And somehow he makes it work, and its not boring in the slightest

Im scared. For my emotional state and bc this is 700 pgs

This is just genuinely one of the best stories ive ever read! The world building is incredible, the ideas are so rich, and the characters are really well developed right from the start, with complex motivations and beautifully written inner thoughts. And its even better w this reread than it was the 1st time, bc i can see all the foreshadowing and understand the world and comcepts so much better now. I love it sm!!

This is still one of my top books of last year, and up there w my all time favs😍so excited for my reread! I feel like i forgot the details already, and i NEED to be prepared for Dune 2 this march!
