What’s the point of this book being so long?

He’s taking one step forward and she’s taking two steps backwards. Also she’s not making up her mind; she just said she likes him and now she’s saying she needs time to trust, wasn’t she confident two pages ago?

I’m reading this because I was reading another book that was really about to give me readers’ block. I read “Face Off” and I guess I liked it? But this is just not as emotional, deep or developing as the author said it is; yeah, I’m smirking at times is not that deep.

I’m quite sure this author is the one that gave me reader’s block after DNFing another book of hers. I refuse to DNF this one, but I honestly can’t find the plot here—it’s all over the place and so bland and boring. I’m so over it and just want it to end, but I still have 25% left 😭

It feels so wrong to call someone else’s mom and dad, even if they asked for it

It’s ALWAYS “deepening the kiss and breathing hard”… it’s really annoying, I don’t read a plot or character development

I DNFed “Bittersweet Memories” (a book by this author) at 62% because it got too repetitive, and this one is not far from it. This was kind of interesting until the 50% mark… afterwards it's just them doing it like bunnies and blah blah blah

There are some words missing and grammar errors. Didn’t the author have beta readers?

Does it get better? It’s taken me forever to read 1%

God, where do I find myself an Emmett Montgomery?!
