Very fun read so far, Lecter is a great character. Chilton is even worse than they portrayed in the movies/shows 😂

Definitely interesting still. His style of writing is different than what I've read before. He goes on & on about details that don't really mean anything to the story, but whereas when people like George R.R. Martin does it I'm bored to tears, but the way King does it makes me want to know more. Don't know how their over-attention to detail differs, but whatever King does is a huge improvement over Martin's technique

Getting more intriguing now. This is one of the few books that I think watching the movie beforehand has actually helped me. I'm connecting with the characters a little better since I know some of their personality & can identify them from the movie.

A bit slow, but I think a bit of that is just me being excited for the scary parts of it.

The 3rd story, Hidden Blade was really good. Definitely dark, and not a HEA ending, but it was really well written. I'll definitely be checking more of this story and author out.

Skipped story #4 because I've already bought and read that book. Not greatly written, but entertaining enough, especially if you like Loki and Norse mythology. Now on to story 5.

The second story was great. Action, humor, a smidge of sexy. And apparently there's more story to it. Definitely good enough that I'm willing to check it out and more work of this author. Now onto story #3!

Yeah...I had to skip that first story. What a bore. Story #2, Dead Rising, is pretty good so far. Good humor, keeping me interested, a lot of wit. Interested in seeing how things turn out for our MC.

Chosen: This first story isn't great. It's probably about 99% telling and 1% showing. It's reading like a textbook almost. Just skimming at this point so I can *hopefully* get to a more interesting part. Or just skip this one all together.
