I don't understand why anyone would even want to go on a trip to the edge of the universe. You'd spend the rest of your life on a spaceship doing basically nothing, hoping for the off-chance you might actually find something and you wouldn't even be able to tell your friends or family about it. Sorry, but I'm staying on earth then, thank you very much.

I might have to sue Alice Oseman for stealing my entire being. It is almost scary how much I relate to this book.

This book... It's weird, it's fascinating and it's kinda scary. It feels so real, the way they talk about AI and "uploading your brain to a computer" and moving beyond mortal life.. it is very unsettling.

They stayed up all night at a sleepover talking about how they wished they could live together like this.

ngl I just want this apocalypse to happen just out of spite. This mom is so unsupportive and her invalidating her daughter's mental illness is not okay.

I really genuinely do not understand why people hate Jazz. Yes, she curses, yes, she has sex and *oh my god* dares to talk about it. What on earth is wrong with that?

I love how these books are so inclusive of all different types of people and different types of family and how that's never a point of conflict or discussion. Everyone can just be who they are and nobody cares if it's not what we consider "normal".
