Ugh... OK this is hard to track. Story not only told in alternating POV but time jumps as well. While one person stays primarily in current, the other person straddle current and the past. While the whole time so far you know there is a secret/an event that is being danced around but is dragged up continually. At this point you just start to get a tip of secret.

Enjoying being pulled into Camille's world. Gita Trelease has done a good job building the image of Paris in 1789. Struggling to keep a normal life for her younger sister while dealing with an older brothers destructive nature due to both parents being died from smallpox.

At Chapter15. Has been an enjoyable listen so far. Cute/sweet/funny.

So this is a Peter Pan reimagining, add a bit of steampunk with a twist of apocalyptic setting and you will get the jest. This seems to be geared more towards the middle aged juvenile, young YA.
