Ah. There’s the third act breakup that doesn’t make sense and is completely irrational. Eye roll.

Easton & Weston for twins? 🤣

She walks into someone’s house?! WTF?!

I’m disappointed by how bored I am.

Oh HECK no.

This FMC is intolerable.

Totally normal to attempt to trap a serial killer instead of having a conversation with the man you’re dating…

So they think he’s the killer based on… they didn’t like him as a teenager?

I’m struggling with this one. The premise is interesting but the over-focus on tropes is distracting (& annoying) and the plot is all over the place.

Having a really hard time liking Daisy at all right now.

I’m going to finish this for the sake of my reading challenge but this is my last KWH book. Ugh it’s so cringe. She’s trying so hard to push this “modern family” and make the preachers wife/family the villain but then also has the women chatting over sweet tea and cleaning up after dinner while the menfolk go drink.

Ugh. Will I make it through this book? It’s like someone took all the stereotypes of the South and crammed them into the first 1/4 of this book.

This is feeling very tamlin coded.

Wow I’m glad the NY accents are gone for this audiobook.

The book just now got good.

Ugh. I hate the narrators for this audiobook.

It was definitely Sophie when she was black out drunk and killed him thinking it was her stalker.

If this ends up being a “Truman Show” situation I’m going to be so disappointed.

As long as it isn’t Barney I’m good.

Feeling like I should’ve DNFed it back at the start but I’m going to finish it at this point.

Still waiting to care about these characters/the plot..

I trust no one in this book.

Would’ve been helpful to mark my percentage here. Got a little over halfway through and the book returned before could finish it. Having a hard time getting back to it, honestly, because I don’t care.

I’m at 10:05 (Abscission:Nolan) and the book returned before I could finish it. Struggled to read this one but I, in general, don’t really enjoy book 2 of trilogies. It’s mainly setting up book 3 and you know it’ll end on a cliffhanger. Putting it back on hold.. so I can finish the last 10% in 13 weeks.

Wow I’m glad it’s clear we ARE supposed to hate Rylan.

Are we meant to hate Rylan? Because his reaction to the proposal is ridiculous.

If it was longer I’d probably DNF it at this point. I don’t love it so far.

It’s her little rock friend.

What the actual heck is this book?
