I might be misreading it, but the story’s starting to give me harem vibes. Going to step back for now, but I still plan on finishing the series soon

I’m trying really hard to keep reading/listening to it because the last two books really got me going but it’s hard. I’m having serious flashbacks to ROM, it’s like as the party gets larger the MC slowly stops learning and thinking and becomes more incompetent. Seriously? Why write a character in a leadership role that can’t, for the life of him, be a competent leader or even learn?

At chapter 26. I'm listening to the audiobook and really enjoying it. Ronnie's performance is great, but Tiffany's, with all due respect, makes every female character sound like an insufferable slut in heat. No shade to sluts (been there, done that), but it's getting very annoying. Can't put it down, though.

They’re inside “enemy” territory only to realize they are in danger going in with toddlers plan with no contingencies ? Really ? There’s one rule in this series so far: Mc never learns.
I’m seriously considering dropping the series and that sucks because I had a great time listening to the audiobooks.

I’m enjoying this book less and less. 58%.
They keep repeating the same thing over and over again! Omfg.
I’ve already lost count after seven: “ your mother should know about this”, “she should know about this” and “ my mother would want to know”….
I’m looking for reasons to not give up on this. But it’s hard.

Yep. The first two books were great but this one killed it. Stopping here.

35% and I got real close to dropping it. The change in POVs was ok but the bullshit with amber and how the story seams to drag along so far is annoying. I hope there’s no harem bullshit stating too… it’s honestly a good read but the change of pace and sudden focus on romance annoys me to no end.
End of my rant ;)

Reading for the second time after a year or so. It's been a while but the emotions came back in the first page. Damn it. Love this book.
