This guy…the ramblings of a depressed hermit who constantly thinks about dreaming and death. He’s afraid to live, he’s afraid of his life, but also accepting of his own life? but like not really? But like wont do anything about it…espouses all of this crap about action being necessary for the soul, but won’t actually act himself bc he’s afraid and “apathetic”…okay.

I started reading this over a year ago, and now after a considerable break, we are so back. Perhaps I needed my brain fully develop before diving back in. There are so many things that I feel I would have missed had I continued reading a year ago. This feels like the perfect summer read.

What the hell is he talking about? Too British...he's basically talking in upper class, intellectual elitist code.

Another short book I’ve had for years that I’m finally getting around to, and I’m really enjoying this one!

Yeah, pretty interesting. Feeling a bit like an introductory read.

This is like reading the Bible. Book three was straight fire. I think men across time are united in the fact they have always had to fight another man’s war.

Just guesstimating where i am in this book; I’m sort of hopping around.

I take back what I said about her sexuality; she’s a damn dawg. Too many allegories to bees and dew and fingers.

Just taking my time...trying to decipher archaic english words and wondering why historians thought she was a lesbian.

Really one of those books that you have to take your time with; 1-3 stanzas every night or here and there.

Reading in tandem with the Iliad. Fun!

Back on my Greek mythology shit...

Love Brontë, she might stumble around finding her footing for those first 50-100 pages, but once she does it’s off like a light, baby.

This book is absolute…fire. Pressure! Heat! The kind of book you want to stay up all night reading.
