off to a good start, it’s been very centered around the politics and not too much on the romance. also, can i just say im boring bored of rory and callum :/ IM BEGGING FOR MORE BLAKE!! we in his castle rn so surely, but callum never seems to leave rory side and im annoyed. its just the beginning tho so lets see

we almost to the end!! and i can i just say callum is EXTREMELY possessive of rory, its kinda scary. AND I PLEASE IM BEGGING IN MY KNEES, MORE BLAKE SCENES. hopefully in book 2 🤞🏾 but this is kinda reminding of acotar in a way in where tamlin is the bait love interest. and im ready to be so wrong about this but THEYRE BROTHERS RIGHT???

im still thoroughly enjoying the book, i just wish the the plot developed a little more. we’ve been inside the castle forever and its mainly been just relationship development between rory and callum. im still wishing for more blake scenes, but it’s reaching a point where rory and callum’s feelings for each other is getting stronger, so idk how she’s gonna ever for blake (if she ever does).

rory is lowkey working my last nerve, but i’m so addicted to reading the story. also, this love triangle im sensing is gonna be hard for me :/
on one hand, callum genuinely seems like a good guy, but im also a sucker for dark, morally grey male character. there hasn’t been too many scenes with blake yet, so im veryyy eager to read more parts between rory and blake

sooo i lied. the fmc is kinda annoying and VERY naive, but i guess that’s to come with her being a pampered princess her whole life. the story is pretty interesting tho, so imma keep reading.
BUT, im sensing there’s gonna a love triangle and idk how to feel about that, but im also very interested in learning more about the other guy (im guessing it’s blake), so lets see :}

pretty fast paced and straight to the point, i appreciate that. the fmc isn’t a complete dullard, given she’s a sheltered princess. i’m actually looking forward to reading more, so it’s looking bright
