Much of the content of the concentration camps reminds me of a book I recently read by Jodi Picoult, The Storyteller. So far The Storyteller was more graphic and disturbing, but Lilac Girls is not too far behind it. Such a horrific time in human history when the behaviors of too many were subhuman.
