Bri founds out that there this one girl that made an article talking about Bri’s song and how they should take it down. Bri got really heated and want on Instagram live and started talking smack about the lady. She then want to sleep the next day she woke up and saw her brother eating cereal. Her brother found out about her on Instagram life and got her in trouble . Then her friends came over to play video games.

Bri’s mom founds out about the song she made and gets very upset. She starts telling Bri why would she say those stuff in her song. Her made told her that she needs to stop rapping and Bri says okay. The next day supreme texted her to meet him at this one place. She want and he congratulated her and give her a gift then. This one guy came and said that he should be her manager she didn’t know what to do.

They heard the cops and they ran. After running they decided to go to Cirtus house. They get their and organized a meeting we’re all the other kids go to. Malik is mad about the protest and telling Bri how they should release the video of her getting pinned to the floor so they can know what really happened. Bri doesn’t want to and they just go against her so she gets mad and leaves home.

They are getting ready to see who the winner for the competition is. They set up their business and each one talks to the judge individually and explain their business. Then at the all they all gathered together to see who the winner was. The winner was Chaaewon and Jesssica they are so happy. Nishat is so proud of them.

In this chapter Bri goes out to eat pizza with Malik she thinks it’s like a date. Then she found out that Shana is going to she is kind of upset because he never told her but she didn’t say anything. They got some pizza and set in their booth. They wanted to hear her song first she said no and then she just said fine. They liked it and then told her how they wanted to protest because of what happened at school.

Flávia still doesn’t want to come out and Nishat understands that.

In this chapter Bri is with her family at church. Her Grandpa gives them some money but she don’t won’t to accept but then she does accept. Her grandma also comes and says hello then they go together to sit down. In this chapter Nishat and her whole classmates set up their business and their parents can come and see how they are doing. Nishat business is not doing to good but it’s not bad her friends come over and help her make her shop look better. After that they go to lunch when Nishat comes back from lunch she sees that her shop is trashed up. They don’t know who did it but it could be anyone.

In this chapter Bri creates her song in a studio but her aunts leaves her there with one of her friends. She was very upset that her aunt left her and she disappear they have t seen her. She doesn’t know if she should post the music but she is just going to wait for her aunt to tell her what to do. Flavia tells Nishat how she is confuse with everything but how a long time ago she came out to her mom as bi and her mom was chill about it. They kissed and then Flavia left. The next day Nishat want on a date with Flávia they want for ice cream and want to this bridge to see the sunset. They hold hands and talked about many their culture and we’re they came from and how they would like to go back one day.

In this chapter Jay has a gathering with a group of people who were at rehab with her. Bri wakes up and goes to the kitchen her aunt is there and they go out to the studio to make her new song. The place was horrible and it look like they sell drugs there. When she gets to the excal studio it looked better then what she expected.

In this chapter Priti and Nishat make up from the argument they had. Nishat also found out how she was focused more on herself and she found out that her grandma is sick. Flávia also gave her a poster for her business and on the weekend she’s going to open her business in her dads shop. She opened up and there wasn’t anyone there yet and she checked her phone and saw a text from Flávia wishing her good luck.

In this chapter Bri gets tackle by the security people at her school for supposedly being suspicious. The school calls her mom and the mom is mad because of what they did to her daughter how they were being racist. Bri still got suspended of school for three days for selling candy at school. Bri then founds out how her mom lost her job and they are struggling a lot right now.

Flávia and Nishat got to Flávia’s house soaked and wet. Flavias mom said who is she and Flavia just said a friend I invited her to do homework and the mom said okay. They want upstairs and started talking about art then they changed to warm clothe. Nishat was feeling kind of self conscious so Flávia but on a unicor onesie and Nishat started laughing uncontrollably.

I’m this chapter Bri was dreaming of when her mom left her and her brother her grandma’s house because she had a drug addiction. It took her three years to recover from her addiction. Since that day her mom left her she stopped calling her mom and called her by her first name. In this chapter it also talks about how everyone that she goes in the bus with is talking about her rap battle.
