I just started and it’s already so much more fun than I expected it to be!!! That cover is still horrific though 👎😭

I’m actually having the time of my life 😭😭. Who cares about a plot when the writing is this brilliant and hilarious!!!

I will never stop reading this book. I genuinely have so much fun at every reread. It never gets dull I'm kicking my feet and giggling every time.

On another note, I find it so ridiculous that the author insists on beginning every chapter with a quote, whoever inappropriate it is for the contents of the book. Crazily enough, she has quotes from Helen Keller and Maya Angelou starting smut-filled chapters it's so fun

Je ne sais pas quoi penser du livre même étant arrivée à la moitié. Je suis modérément curieuse de voir quel tournant prendra l’histoire uniquement à cause des nombreux commentaires émerveillés. Je veux savoir what the hype is about mais jusque là ça ne me plait pas plus que ça.

I can’t bring myself to put down this masterpiece. I have an exam tomorrow but you couldn’t wrench this book apart from my hands.

Well, all happiness I felt while reading the flashbacks is gone now.
I’m so mad!! I forgot just how horrifying this book is. I feel nauseated reading it, everything is so vividly described. The author tiptoes the line between scarring you for life but keeping you hooked enough so you can’t put down the book.

I decided to read it in chronological order this time, and now I’m thinking that the emotional damage will be harder like this, might not be such a good idea after all.
I have fragments of little happy moments and I’m hopeful and giggling until I remember what’s to come and the anxiety comes rushing back.

I mean I kind of knew what I was getting into with the trigger warnings, but I DID NOT know what I was getting into.
It's hard to read, I'm struggling with it, but at the same time, I can't stop reading.
It's making me so incredibly angry, I hope the bad stuff is close to over.

This year has been an awful reading year for me, really...
I feel like I'm either in the biggest reading slump ever and it's my fault all of the books I have been reading didn't stick with me or I have been picking up only the most average books ever.
It's been 6 full months and I have only, truly, been hooked by a book once, and it was FANFICTION!!!
I am DESPERATE please recommend something that will blow me away ♡

I take back whatever criticism I made when I was starting this book, I deeply apologize !! I'm actually having so much fun and I cannot put it down. I love slow-burn and this one is scorching me...
