CONFLICT: The main conflict in my book is "character vs nature". Doug really doesn't like the environment he lives in. The town looks like a dump and has older homes with trash everywhere with a lot of rude and snobby people, he says that "town is a big retire home" because a lot of older people live there.

The supporting characters In my book is Lil. She is Dougs friend and she helps him get to know the area because he is new to the town. Lil was kinda mean at the start but after they got to know each-other they became friends.

Remake again: In this Book, there is a lot of things to visualize. The thing that caught my eye is when Doug and his family started to talk about how terrible their neighborhood was. I started to picture how the town they lived in looked when Doug explained how filthy the streets were and how some of the houses had broken planks and windows. It reminded me how an abandoned neighborhood would look.

I think Doug's neighborhood and the area he lives in looks very bad.
Doug and his parents are always complaining about the area. And they say the people there are always mean and snoby.

Remake: My prediction for the book is that Doug will eventually move back to his hometown. Doug's parents had been complaining about their house and town. He also listened in on his parents talking about moving, but they didn't say where to.

I think Doug Swieteck will reunite with his friends from his old school. I think this because he has heard their names before and has been having many random dreams. he even heard a teacher talk about his best friend Holling Hood Hood.

Genre: The book I am reading is realistic fiction. I know this because I bought the book from Barnes and Nobles in the fiction section. I chose realistic fiction because when I read the back of the book it felt like a true story that could happen to me or any of my friends in real life. This book tells of life-like stories and that's what drew me to this book.

The book I am reading Okay for Now is told in the first-person narration. The main character Doug Swieteck is telling a story of how he and his family moved to a new state. Doug is not very happy that he moved away from all his friends and favorite baseball team. I know this because he said, "I'm so angry at my parents right now," "I hate this town," "I hate we had to come here."

The climax in my book is when the Christeros let Jose and Trino join their army. Christeros only let them be martyrs because they were still too young to hold a gun. They were so excited about the news. The boys ran back to their camp to write each of their parents a letter letting them know that they would now be serving along the Christeros. This was all Jose and Trino ever dreamed about.

The supporting character in my book is Jose's best friend Trino. Every time Jose is scared or worried do something Trino always cheers him up. One time the friends were getting ready to go to Cristero's camp but Jose was so frightened that they wouldn't make it he almost didn't go. Trino encouraged his friend to go with him and they both made it into the Cristero's. Trino is such an awesome and loyal friend.

My favorite part when reading a book is to visualize. One part I was able to visualize is when Jose and his best friend Trino got to the Christeros hideout and the soldiers popped out of nowhere with guns because they did not know who he was. I just could picture how scared Jose was when the solders sneaked up on him.

One connection I made from the book to myself is when Jose was walking to the dining table with his dinner, he had tripped and made a huge mess. This has also happened to me at my grandma's house. She had just made me a plate of food and when I went to go sit down I tripped over their dog and my tacos dropped everywhere. I connect with my character because we both are young teens and at times we can be clumsy.

Jose Sanchez, the main character in my book is a brave boy. For example, he is trying to join an army to fight for his religious rights. Unfortunately, he is too young to be a soldier so he will be a martyr until he is 16. He is very impulsive too, he does chores for no reason, and he plays a lot.

The antagonist in this story is that Jose can't join the Cristeros. The Cristeros is a regiment that fights against the government for religious rights, this is why Jose wants to join them. Jose wants to fight for God. Even if he does something so little such as holding water and ammo.

The genre of my book is a biography. I know this because the author is writing about a boy's life when he was younger. The author wrote about this brave boy, Jose Cristero, and how he was brave enough to go into war and represent his country by holding up the Mexican flag.

My first prediction from my book was when Ida Greenberg gave three complete strangers money from her will and told them to Pay it Forward with good deeds. I thought Matt the first person she gave the money too was not going to go find the others two and pass on the money she left. I thought he wasn't going to take the money at all. I was wrong with my prediction. He went searching for the other two strangers.

The Purpose and Audience of Pay it forward is a major key role in understanding its meaning. This was written for people to understand the purpose of giving and paying it forward for another person. It tells different stories of other people on how when they got the chance to do something good and what they did to better the world. I think this book was written for everyone on how to make the world a better place.

REDO 10/12. The setting in my book begins in the early 1990s in a small town called Atascadero, in California. Trevor who is in seventh grade comes home from school to tell his mother about his day. He was upset because two kids in class made fun of him for thinking that Clinton was going to win the election. They for sure thought that George Bush was going to win. His mother made him realize no one thinks alike.

In my book Pay it Foward, the point of view is being told by 3rd person omniscient. I know this because, in chapter 10, Matt was given money by unknown women. He is telling the story about the women and three other people who were also gifted money too. He's telling us about each person and how the felt when gifted this money and what they each would do with it. And, they should all pay it forward when they pass on.
