I’m an idiot. It has occurred to me that all the characters have names of iconic horror villains. Freddy (nightmare on elm street), Tiffany (child’s play franchise), Michael (Halloween), Carrie (Carrie with mommy issues), Patrick (American Psycho who is thought to be gay), Jason (Friday the 13th), Jen (Jennifer’s Body double for that cause gay)

I have a suspicion that my baby Mikey is so messed up that he would plan this whole thing to be seen as someone on Carrie’s radar. Like I don’t think he planned on Ranger Russ showing up but I think he may have hired someone to pretend to be the Slasher

I’m glad a horror book is finally mentioning this gross stuff about what a body does when you’re dead. If the killer had to be around and smell that maybe they wouldn’t kill anyone

I don’t think Tiffany is gonna get killed by the Slasher. I think Carrie and Mikey are the killers and there’s a third person doing the killing as well. So I think Tiffany is gonna be killed by Carrie. Still upset about Jen. She didn’t even get sliced and diced correctly.

Someone better day sike rn. Patrick could be the killer which would be cool but also highly problematic so I don’t think it’s him. But the Slasher sneezed around Freddy so idk

“Fred and Velma - that was a ship no one would see coming,” you know Fred and Velma are one of my favorite ships. If this book pulls it off it will be in my top 10 this year

All the spoilers all the time! I swear if Mikey was the one to send out Carrie’s nudes I’ll be so mad. Why do the fictional guys I pick have so many problems. But I do like all the guys here. Even tho I think Freddy is gonna die first maybe. I say Freddy, Tiffany, Jen, and Carrie die. Maybe. Patrick lives bc he’s the gay black character and we’re not offing dual minorities in 2026

Someone in the group is the killer or there’s another person doing the killing. I also think there may be two killers.
Either way I love Mikey down and I hope he survives.

Very excited to read this however there’s no way in the world the publisher allowed all these copies of the book to be published with the music notes incorrect. These Bs with their stem up instead of down is going to irritate me every time. I hope it doesn’t impact my rating lol

Ganoes is in the prologue so I may never see him again as this is a fantasy book.
