wishing this book didnt have so many lotr and star trek references cause i havent seen or read either and all i end up thinking when darius brought them up was ''uh ok'' and it took away from quite a bit of the feelings n flow of the story... if the references were cut down to just a few small things it'd be fine but its like every chapter multiple times x3 come oooon
