I have enjoyed this so very much, love the world and character building... after a while even I have been getting bored. I just don't care about alzaan or Marin all that much. Although I will admit I do enjoy hearing about terin (who im convinced is secretpy vile) and that only happens in their chapters. But bulang literally springs <spoiler> that he's the splinter king (bk2) </spoiler> and never again brought up

So far I'm annoyed at Roy. He should have advanced before the tournament and I'm just annoyed it feels like he's stagnant which makes the story feel the same

There have been quite a few boring parts. I honestly hated the part where he "lost" his core. It was a poorly written part

I have an issue with the way he treats sex in this book especially pedophilia in one instance. A 9 yo cannot consent to a damn thing. And I can't imagine a parent not wanting to know to protect their child

There is only one way to enjoy this guys books. Audiobook versions only. Lots of voice actors( well at least 2) and they embody the characters they play.

Man the fact that Wiccan is used so incorrectly here makes it hard to get through. The story is interesting enough but misinterpreting Wiccan so badly when its so central to the story is bothersome

Finally coming back after almost 3 weeks break. Not an issue with the book itself. Just depression.
