It's been a while since I finished volume 3, and I forgot how much you have to keep track of lol. I should probably stick with volume 4 until I finish it, or I'll forget things. 🫣But anyway, I'm happy to be reading this again. :D

While I don't understand most of the mythology, the way they hold each other in their hearts is beautiful 💙

I have a feeling this is not going to end well :D

Despite the slow beginning, I’m really enjoying this book because it makes me feel so many things at once lol. It gives me this strange sense of homesickness and nostalgia, tinged with solitude and a longing for something I can’t quite put into words 😭

So far, the protagonist is giving me a bit Xiao Xingchen vibes, not because of the blindness alone, but also of his gentle nature and the loneliness that seems to surround him 😔

I love reading the artifact parts. I could read an entire series of that lol. I wanna have more stuff focused on craftsmanship; it’s so fun and satisfying to read 😂

The more I read this, the more the angst creeps up on me, lol. I picked this book because the MC is autistic, and since I’m on the spectrum too, the struggles with masking are hitting pretty close to home ;;

Probs gonna be slow as heck with this one, and I may need to re-read some things from Volume 2 since it's been months since I finished it lol

I can relate to Mo Tianliao’s work a bit. The whole idea of cultivation artifacts and the effort behind them reminds me of grinding for relic weapons in FFXIV lol

This book sure knows how to hit you on a lot of emotional layers lol :')

I think these two are slowly becoming one of my top danmei ships alongside Hualian and FengCui from Peerless <3

I already love Volume 2 a lot <3 It feels like it healed me a bit after volume 1

Kind of a random thought, but whenever I read a scene I really like in a book, I always get the urge to sketch it lol, even though I still struggle to turn those ideas into actual drawings 😂

I’m gonna be a snail with QJJ, but reading slowly and attentively with the character chart really helps me understand and enjoy it so much more !! ^^

I mostly do it on my days off though bc after work my brain is dead tired haha XD

Putting this on hold for a bit. Not because I'm not enjoying it, but something very tough happened, and the aftermath is a little triggering for me personally. I'm kind of struggling to read it right now. I'll come back to it later.

I wonder if I sometimes have too much empathy for fictional characters, but Gu Yun's past and the way he is make me feel a little upset for him😅
